Visitation Services Bachelor ’s Level On-site Manager  - Holmes & Jackson Counties

Flexible and energetic human service professional to manage and deliver supervised visitation services in a safe and nurturing environment for families with children in foster care.  Complete orientation of new families to achieve mutual understanding of family and program goals. Deliver Standard, Secure, and Enhanced Visitation Services.  Assure accurate, meaningful and respectful reports regarding the family’s progress with visitation. Maintain strong relations with dependency case management and perform court testimony as needed.  Maintain a safe and family friendly visiting environment.   Travel between counties. Use technology for reporting, communication and service monitoring. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a human services discipline and one year experience working with children and families. Ability to work independently. Background in positive parenting and commitment to family reunification. Working knowledge of the dependency case management system preferred. Salary base: $31,500 plus full-time benefits.

 

Foster Parent Training & Licensing Specialist - Bay County

A multi-task oriented individual is needed to recruit, license, train, & provide technical assistance & support to foster parents primarily in Bay County- may require travel out of county.  The individual will work with these dedicated caretakers to ensure that they have the technical support necessary to meet state licensing requirements. The individual will train prospective parents in the MAPP (Model Approach to Partnerships in Parenting) curriculum, assist in coordinating the annual foster appreciation events, plan training opportunities for foster parents, assist in other program functions as deemed necessary. Individual must have excellent oral and written communication skills. The successful applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in human services and possess or attain post-employment certification as a Child Protection Professional and obtain MAPP (Model Approach to Partnership In Parenting) certification. Salary base: $  31,600 plus full-time benefits.
