Maintain a safe and family friendly visiting environment. Travel between counties. Use technology for reporting, communication and service monitoring. Foster Parent Training & Licensing Specialist - Bay County A multi-task oriented individual is needed to recruit, license, train, & provide technical assistance & support to foster parents primarily in Bay County- may require travel out of county. The individual will work with these dedicated caretakers to ensure that they have the technical support necessary to meet state licensing requirements. The individual will train prospective parents in the MAPP (Model Approach to Partnerships in Parenting) curriculum, assist in coordinating the annual foster appreciation events, plan training opportunities for foster parents, assist in other program functions as deemed necessary. Individual must have excellent oral and written communication skills. The successful applicant must have a Bachelor’s degree in human services and possess or attain post-employment certification as a Child Protection Professional and obtain MAPP (Model Approach to Partnership In Parenting) certification.
