General Requirements for Licensed Foster
Homes
These requirements include but
are not limited to the following:

Home Study |

Child Abuse Registry Check |
|
Personal and Employment Reference Checks |
|
Health Department Inspection of your Home |
|
Affidavit of Good Moral Character |
|
Confidentiality Agreement |
|
Discipline Agreement |
|
Foster Parent Training (30 hours – 8 to 10 weekly meetings) |
|
Must be in general good health and have a home telephone |
|
Must be financially stable without dependence on foster care payments |
|
Fingerprint checks by the Florida Department of Law
Enforcement and the FBI on all household members over 18 years old
